Our Story

A bit about us. Since 2012, we have been helping our clients develop meaningful and memorable events across South Africa. Our 30+ full and part-time employees bring a wealth of knowledge, energy, enthusiasm and experience that is unmatched in the event industry. We have a proven track record of innovation and creativity while launching sleek events on time and on budget.

The team’s diverse knowledge includes experience in event coordination, product design, entertainment, event & stage production, adverting & marketing specialists, retail as well as sporting events.

Director

Creative and out of the box thinker. Nothing is ever too small or impossible.

Event Co-ordintator

A perfectionist and born event planner. From proposals to execution, she is meticulous.

MICHELLE SMAL
Event Co-ordinator

A born entertainer and production manager. Stage and lifestyle events are Michelle’s home away from home.

Event Manager

A quirky bundle of energy, Gina’s vibrant personality makes her a sought-after asset at our events, in particular, our youth experience activations.

TERENCE MAKAPAN
Event Manager

Terence our unique character brings charm to every event. He is a trick of all trades and a true asset to the team.

MARTINE SANDLER
Event Manager

Martine has climbed our “JellyBean ladder” quickly and has been a huge favourite amongst kids and parents in our youth experience division. She brings a fresh and vibrant energy to our youth events.

Our passion, drive and absolute love for what we do is what drives our team along the same vision to achieve the same goal. Over the years we have employed and trained much staff who start out part-time and grow into full-time positions within the team.

Giving Back

JellyBean Events has fostered and continues to foster many relationships with charities around the Western Cape. Our team love creating birthday celebrations with kids who have never experienced what a birthday party is. We create Christmas parties for orphanages and have participated in many Reach for a Dream and Santa Shoebox campaigns throughout the years.

Besides our awesome parties. Our Director, Amanda mentors small businesses & startups within the Jewish Community of Cape Town as well as mentoring & giving talks to students who are all within the start-up phases of their businesses and are looking for guidelines, help and business plan assistance.
